Meghan Markle Has Written a Cookbook with Women Affected by the Grenfell Tower Fire
In case you need more proof that Meghan Markle is a lovely human who everyone should aspire to be more like, Kensington Palace just revealed that she co-authored a cookbook with women affected by the 2017 Grenfell Tower Fire in London.
In a series of tweets, Kensington Palace explains that last summer "a group of women gathered in a communal kitchen at the Al Manaar Centre in West London, where they could prepare fresh food for their families, friends and neighbors." More and more women joined what's now called the Hubb Community Kitchen—including the Duchess, who visited the kitchen in January and has been making private visits to cook with the community.
Now, the group have written a cookbook called Together: Our Community Cookbook, which has a foreword by none other than Meghan.
Profits from the book will go straight back to the Hubb kitchen—and by the way, Hubb means "love" in Arabic, so this project couldn't have a more perfect name.
